Crew Teams Descriptions for J2B 2009: To join any of these teams, please email: j2b@journeyoffaith.com or call 310.372.4641 x235 Restroom Detail: POSITIONS AVAILABLE The restroom team simply keeps the 4 restrooms used (2 for the Public, 2 for the Cast) clean and stocked. Anything needed prior to a performance night, they can request from Doug, the facilities manager. Security: POSITIONS AVAILABLE The Security team is responsible for monitoring the safety of the park, the guests and the cast. They all have radios, but only some are plainly visible with a bright vest. Others are undercover. They are to handle any security issues, and have full authority to eject guests from the park. They are the ones to contact the MB Police should the need arise. They are present at all the performances. Set Up: POSITIONS AVAILABLE This team begins setting up J2B a week or two prior to the performance nights. This set up may continue into the first or second day of Performances. Knowledge of construction isn’t a must, but it helps. You may use your own power tools (please label them!), or use the church’s tools. We suggest you bring gloves. Tear down: POSITIONS AVAILABLE Once J2B is finished, tear down begins immediately. We have one week to completely pack all of J2B sets into the containers and clear the parking lot. Trash: POSITIONS AVAILABLE The trash team empties the 5 to 10 trash containers each night to ensure room for trash the following night’s performance. They also can walk the park during the performances, picking up trash on the ground. They may use a tool so they don’t need to bend over. Video/Photo: POSITIONS AVAILABLE The video/photo team is responsible for taking photos and video of all actor’s workshops, set-up and tear down of Bethlehem, as well as each night of performances. You may use your own camera equipment, but this is not a must. We will provide equipment for you to use. We prefer to have everything shot digitally however if you prefer film, we will reimburse you or we will get the film developed ourselves.
